Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Receive and interpret verbal customer inquiries and/or complaints via telephone and respond to customers verbally using PC while performing searches/look-ups and account maintenance to customer accounts according to established departmental policy.

Determines the best method to assist customer and resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction, according to department guidelines and/or client specifications.

Utilizes established vehicles to offer and promote magazine and product opportunities to customers when appropriate in order to achieve upsells and/or cross-sells according to established departmental policy.

Reads, interprets and maintains current information on client specific data by utilizing various resources including publisher screens, voice mail, memos and websites.

Displays friendly, courteous, cooperative and professional behavior to all levels of employees, vendors, clients and customers in a team environment.

Informs management of complaint trends, distribution problems and/or feedback from customers.

Completes daily tally sheets to account for productivity.

Maintains confidentiality of CDS Globaland its clients' proprietary information.

Reacts professionally to change and remains productive.

Continually performs and meets performance standards of this position.
Adheres to CDS Global policies.
Required Skills
Minimum Qualifications

Minimum typing requirements of 25 wpm. (Typing test required)

Customer Service background or experience working with people preferred.

Proficient communication skills.

General PC knowledge and skills.

Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

Ability to analyze, interpret and process data.

Ability to perform simple math skills.

Ability to problem solve.

Good attention to detail.

Organizational skills.

Ability to make independent decisions.

Proficient ability to read, write and speak English.

Stable work history.

Must be at least 16 years of age.

Minimum of 20 hours/week. Prefer 40 hours/week.

Work Schedule
Schedules available within the following parameters:
M-F 10am - 8pm
and/or
Saturday 10am- 6pm
Mandatory Training Program:
October 13 - November 14
Monday - Friday 7am - 2pm
Salary
Base Wage $11.55/hour
50%25%20of hours worked after 4pm = $11.95/hour for all hours worked.
20%25%20of hours worked on Saturday or Sunday = $12.55/hour for all hours worked.
40%25%20of hours worked on Saturday and Sunday = $13.05/hour for all hours worked.
Required Experience
Post-offer, pre-employment exam will be required.
Criminal background check will be conducted on qualified candidates.
Typing test will also be required on qualified candidates.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
