25 an hour 4 days ago 4 days ago 4 days ago 1st Shift Supervisor Role and Responsibilities The Site Supervisor (SS) is a critical role and has supervisory responsibilities with a rank of Sergeant (where applicable) or greater.
The Site Supervisor will be self-directed and able to work independently with little supervision.
They must demonstrate strong leadership, approachability, attention to detail, and be able to solve problems is a collaborative, fast paced, high-profile environment and deliver extraordinary results.
Other qualities include strong business acumen and the ability to regularly work evenings and weekends on a flexible schedule, as needed, to assist upper management.
Typical schedule is Monday - Friday 0600-1400; however, must be available for all shifts weekends and weekdays.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Serve as a Point of Contact (POC) for designated site(s) and upper management.
o Attend meetings with the client representative and report findings, outcomes, and/or discussion points to upper management o Be available 24/7 and able to respond as necessary to telephone calls, incidents, questions, scheduling concerns, emergency request for services, etc.
o Respond in a timely manner to emails, text messages, and request from upper management.
Work alongside officers and serve as an example to all personnel as to how they should conduct themselves at your site.
Create and maintain a weekly schedule no less than two weeks in advance and published no later than Wednesday of each week.
o Confirm all personnel get their schedule and ensure the on-time performance of officers at your site.
o Assign or work any open shift(s) not covered due to injury, absence or illness and minimize overtime while doing so.
o Verify payroll documentation for accuracy and completeness.
This includes reviewing timesheets, sign in/out sheets, site schedule and request forms to identify errors or omissions for submitted payroll documentation.
Collect and review all written reports and documentation and send to upper management for review Manage and supervise all security personnel assigned to your site(s).
o Work with members to resolve issues or concerns following policies and procedures.
o Use delegated authority to handle disciplinary actions following supervisory procedural instruction to include issuing:
o Report all disciplinary matters to upper management.
Conduct frequent inspections of all company property and report any damaged or missing items.
Conduct monthly unannounced supervisory inspection on all shifts.
Conduct inspections of all officers Maintain intimate knowledge of site(s) and company policies and procedures.
Maintain and store inventory such as uniforms, duty equipment, and other items to ensure accountability of company property.
Responsible for initial screening of security officer candidates as requested by upper management Conduct and/or coordinate training for newly assigned officers to include:
o Initial on-the-job training.
o Probationary evaluations.
review, and file company specific documents and forms as required.
Write reports as needed for incidents, recommendations, and disciplinary actions.
Other Duties Assist with and ensure regulatory compliance at your site(s).
Use problem solving skills to solve various issues when others are ill equipped or unknowledgeable to a situation.
Responsible for cleaning individual workspace and empty refuse weekly.
Use of company vehicle is required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements 2 years of previous supervisory experience.
Experience in completing detailed administrative tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to handle several projects simultaneously with overlapping deadlines and unique project specifications.
Sound judgment, solid decision-making ability, and proactive problem-solving skills.
Skillful with Windows based software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Exception writing and communication skills.
Self-motivated and driven.
Additional Notes We are looking for skilled professional who wants to grow with a family-oriented team and dominate the private security market.
This position is compensated hourly.
You are paid extra per hour on your normally scheduled workdays to perform supervisory duties above your regularly scheduled work.
This means that answering the telephone after your normal working hours is a part of those responsibilities agreed to as a site supervisor.
If you are required to man a post or respond to a site you will be compensated at your normal hourly rate or if more than 40 hours for the week, overtime.
