Summary:
This Application Analyst I will work collaboratively with users of the healthcare information systems (HCIS) and related support systems in the Hospital and the Physician Clinics.
This position provides leadership for the configuration, education, training and implementation support of the organization information systems and software applications.
This position works with hospital and clinic staff to enhance their operational efficiency, electronic workflows, and overall system usability.
This position facilitates appropriate access to IT systems and software applications, protects confidentiality and security of information, reduces redundancy, and supports quality decisions across the health care continuum.
This position assumes a variety of roles, including application configuration, workflow and information analysis, and training in the course of implementing and deploying the applications and software products.

EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
A Bachelors degree with a focus on accounting, business or healthcare is preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Supervisory/leadership/management experience preferred.
Effective verbal and written communication skills 3-5 years with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Meditech or equivalent level of an EMR system, e-mail and internet research.
Demonstrated ability to be self-directed with excellent organizational, analytical, writing, interpersonal and project management skills.
Essential Functions:
Works to develop expertise in specific HCIS modules, supporting system, and software applications assigned.
Reads systems and application implementation and release notes / manuals to understand and learn how to implement and maintain applications.
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of assigned applications reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
Conducts thorough systems assessment and utilizes findings when developing new or enhanced information system applications to be used by hospital and clinic users.
Participates in information system implementations through the adaptation of software to fit the needs of hospital departments and staff.
Demonstrates interpersonal relationship skills to work closely with staff to successfully implement computerized information systems.
Establishes a course of action for self and others as they relate to project teams to accomplish specific goals; plan priorities, assignments, and effective and efficient allocation of resources.
Participates in the design, development, documentation, testing, and support of software.
Collaborates with councils, committees, and process improvement teams to meet the needs of the end-user.
Demonstrates ability to self-manage based on assigned task and to assume full ownership of overall outcomes.
Manages multiple projects with rapidly changing priorities and deadlines.
Identifies areas for procedural improvements.
Provides detailed specifications describing functions to be automated.
Applies best practices to the management of the applications and information systems.
Demonstrates knowledge of procedures for maintaining security, confidentiality, and integrity of employee, patient, family and other medical information.
Participates in the build, maintenance and monitoring of applications and interfaces Assists in the delivery of super user training Participates in the testing and implementation of systems and interfaces Assists hospital and clinic staff in the troubleshooting of application issues and errors Maintains effective professional relationships with project stakeholders and teams Participates in company meetings and organizational projects as required New HCIS, Software Application or Major Revision Implementations Participates in kick-off, integrated test and go-live execution Participates in project meetings and completes assigned action items Consistently meets project objectives Maintains all required project documentation Recommended Skills Accounting Analytical Business Efficiency Business Process Improvement Communication Confidentiality Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
